Has your girl attending other Girl Scout camps for a few years? Is she interested in a more depth look at leadership in Girl Scouts and wants to develop leadership skills in her own life? Leadership Camps might be for your girl!

There are three separate leadership programs: Program Aide, Counselor in Training Level I and Counselor in Training Level II.

Each program builds leadership awareness and skills, though each program is a different length and has different goals. Campers who attend Counselor in Training Level II and are recommended by camp staff may have the opportunity to be a Junior staff member at camp the following summer!

Session Types

  • Program Aide: Girls entering grades 6, 7 or 8 in the fall
  • Counselor in Training (CIT) I: Girls entering grades 9, 10 or 11 in the fall
  • Counselor in Training (CIT) II: Girls entering grades 11 or 12 in the fall

Activity Types

All the same traditional camp activities the girls have been doing at Camp E-Ko-Wah for years, this time with more of a focus on leading some of those activities!

Packing Lists

Use the packing list in your Welcome Pack to make sure your girl has everything she needs for an exciting camp experience! Please note: These lists are simply general suggestions of what your girl should pack.

As you pack, label everything with your camper’s first and last name.

Remember camp is rustic – think dirt, dust, and humidity – so, clothes and shoes will get dirty. We do not have laundry facilities available for camper use, so pack enough for your camper’s entire stay.
